Based upon our very successful Installation Training, Certification takes press crew training to the next level.
Operators and crews will not only be trained but will be tested on their knowledge of press functionality, procedures, and basic lithographic principles.
Upon completion and certification, graduates will have a more complete knowledge of the printing process as it relates to Timsons equipment.
It is not uncommon in many companies for press operators to rise to the level of Lead Pressman primarily for reasons of seniority.
These lead pressmen have never had the benefit of OEM training and have picked up both good and bad habits from observing other Lead Pressmen.
Without adequate knowledge and understanding of the correct operational procedures, press controls and in some cases basic lithography principles these operators are prone to over consumption, low quality, and mistakes requiring rework.
